Mars500 ‘arrives’ in orbit around Mars!

The voyage to Mars has begun! However, only a simulation has been undertaken so far by Mars 500, a project by the European Space Agency. Its aim is preparing austronats for the challenges of long exploration missions.

This initiative may precede the development of the technology that will fly austronats to Mars is, thus perhaps setting an incentive to deliver such technology and also boosting expectation until then.
